I'm Thomas — a systems thinker documenting the process of turning ideas into architecture, architecture into infrastructure, and infrastructure into things that last. Not a finished portfolio. An open build log.
Why
It's the operating log of someone building ambitious technology — calmly, deliberately, one system at a time. The goal was never to look successful. It's to build things that actually improve how people work and think, and to show the real process of getting there: the ideas, the iterations, the parts that didn't work the first time.
Now building
A personal operating environment, not a SaaS product. One connected object graph for projects, infrastructure, notes, files, and reflection — running on a bare Hetzner VPS I configured from scratch, with real infrastructure surfaced directly in the interface instead of hidden behind it.

How
Every system starts as a decision about how the pieces relate — the code comes after, not before.
Simple on day one. Still teaching you something new a year in. Nothing explained twice.
Built to be used for a decade, not demoed for a weekend. Boring technology, used well, wins.
The finished thing is the least interesting part. The thinking that got there is the part worth sharing.

Future
Every system here started as a rough idea somewhere else first. That's where the real process gets documented — follow along if you want to build alongside it.
